Happily Baby After
Happily Baby After is our ongoing weekly series for lactating parents and babies. Each week rotates through one of four core topics, so you can start any week and attend at whichever location works for you. Every session blends hands-on education from our clinical team with peer connection and a short check-in with our team.
Come as often as you like and in any order. Because the topics rotate, there is no need to wait for a new group to begin; join whatever is happening this week and pick up the others as they come around. Pregnant parents are welcome when there is room.
Latch
What a good latch looks, sounds, and feels like, plus how to assess and improve your baby's latch at the breast and the bottle.
Milk Supply
How your body makes milk, why consistent milk removal matters most in the early weeks, and practical ways to protect your supply.
Moving the Milk
Hand expression and pumping, storing and preparing milk, keeping your supply up when you are away from your baby, and pumping after a return to work.
Infant Cues
Reading your newborn's cues and states, and responsive ways to comfort and soothe your baby.
Led by our IBCLCs and nurse practitioner IBCLCs. Each session includes a brief check-in with our clinical team, so it is billed through your insurance and most families pay nothing out of pocket.
