Connect with other parents and learn alongside our clinical team.
Breastfeed Atlanta offers classes and groups where families learn alongside our clinical team and connect with other parents at similar stages. Whether you're nursing, pumping, combo feeding, or just getting started, you're welcome. Our classes and groups are led by IBCLCs and a pediatric nurse practitioner, and most families pay nothing out of pocket because we bill through your insurance.
Happily Baby After
Breastfeed Atlanta's four-week parenting class series
Happily Baby After is a four-week parenting class series designed to help families feel confident, informed, and supported as they navigate life with a new baby.
Each weekly session focuses on a different topic, blending practical education from our clinical team with meaningful conversation among parents at similar stages. Happily Baby After is a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and build confidence in your parenting journey.
The four sessions cover:
Latch and early feeding basics
Understanding infant cues
Pumping and milk expression
Returning to work while meeting your feeding goals
Happily Baby After is led by Breastfeed Atlanta's IBCLCs and nurse practitioner IBCLCs. We combine evidence-based education with peer connection so you leave each session with both practical skills and a community of parents who get it.
The class series is billed through your insurance; most families pay nothing out of pocket.

Centering Motherhood
Our Centering Motherhood group is where moms and their babies come together to learn about infant feeding and development and add practical skills to their already growing repertoire. Group members gain confidence in their abilities and form lasting friendships in ways not possible with traditional care. If you are interested in joining our Centering Motherhood group you can schedule a lactation consultation and ask your provider to help you get signed up.
Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
Our prenatal breastfeeding class prepares expecting parents for breastfeeding before baby arrives. Topics covered include how lactation actually works, what to expect in the first hours and days after birth, common challenges and how to address them, when to seek help, and how to set yourself up for success. The class is led by one of our IBCLCs in a small-group setting that allows for plenty of questions.
Most families enroll in the prenatal class during the third trimester. Read more on our Prenatal Services page.
